Telegram is a platform that allows us to share all kinds of files and items, but not just sharing; when you enter the social network, you will find everything from TV series to books and music you can download.
Through groups, you will find all kinds of bots to play with among group members; it’s a lot of fun. You can always use this platform from your smartphone, which means you have to download the app from the app store, but we’ll cover that later in this article. To sign up for Telegram, follow these steps:
Download Telegram
As mentioned in the previous section, you can download the application from the store. If you go to the Play Store and type Telegram in the search engine, you will find the application available for download.
After the download is complete, you will install the app on your smartphone so you can start using the app. Once the shortcut creates, click on the app icon, and it will open instantly. All you have to do is enter or create a new account if you don’t have one yet.
Enter Your Data
The first data you can add is the country you’re in, and you can add your phone number. This step is essential because you will create your account with your phone number.
Now, if you have followed these steps, you will receive a message with the verification code with which you will create your account. Type the verification code in the field that says Telegram. It can be completed automatically after receiving the verification code. Now, all that needs to do is to continue with the registration process.
Enter Your Username
Then all you have to do is add your username to Telegram. It is necessary to enter a name. You can also add your last name if you wish. To write your name, click this option in the required field.
Then click on the blue circled arrow to continue with the registration process in your Telegram account. Remember, these are the first steps. You can then change some data in the settings or your profile picture, which leaves us at the next point where you can choose your photo to identify your account.
Add Your Photo
Finally, you can select the picture from your phone gallery and the photo you want to use in your account:
- While typing your username, tap the camera icon next to these fields before tapping the blue circle arrow.
- Your phone gallery will open.
- Select the desired image and continue recording.
- Accept the terms and conditions.
- Here, your account is ready.
